>> The last splashdown in the ocean of a manned space capsule was the Apollo-Soyuz mission on 24 July 1975. This will be the first manned mission for the SpaceX Crew Dragon capsule. It is also the first time a private space craft took astronauts to space and back. It will be a piloted reentry. The water recovery will be done by two SpaceX ships. This is exciting stuff!
