I have not heard or read about a single death from COVID-19.
The term “comorbidity” is always used. Not sometimes. Every time. Deaths from COVID-19 have overwhelmingly been those between 70 and 90 years old with a comorbidity. They have died from heart disease, cancer, influenza, pneumonia... perhaps complicated by COVID-19.
I’ve been looking for someone who has died of COVID-19. I’m so sorry for your loss if this has happened in your family.
But I can only find those who have died from something else, with COVID-19 as perhaps a contributing factor.
Every COVID-19 death has come with the question “what did they die from?”
Did you know 22 veterans commit suicide everyday? Did you know that the suicide rate has gone up with the general public tremendously this year because of isolation? Just be aware when you’re engaging with people around you. We never know what others are going through. And holidays...during Covid...job losses...financial strain...an effed up election...are a recipe for this. Be extra kind right now. I only say this because I am a veteran and I’ve worked with them. Have a great week.
A message from Dave.
