Is it old fashioned to say thank you? I write real notes to send via USPS, I email, I phone. When a friend is here and says can I refill your water bottle for you, I respond with "Yes please, thank you very much."
On July 7, 2020 I chose to help a young person out, they didn't ask me, I offered. I felt my gift was generous and would be appreciated. Today I dropped them a note to see if they had indeed received it, and they wrote back and asked me to email them, I'm guessing so as to not be shamed by their online friends.
I'm an old fashioned kind of gal. Are manners completely dead now in young people?
