If you haven't seen this, or if you have, it's worth a read. This approach saved me. I was so consumed with anger, despair and frustration... even when I woke up! Then I read this and decided to write in my journal a new headline every day. Something that happened that I could hold on to as lovely and personal. I've found that I can't just take out current events anger from my brain, I have to replace it with something else to think about. New headlines. (And Scripture too, but that's for another post.)
