So did anyone else dive deep into the weekly COVID update from the CDC? No? Probably not. On the "public friendly" version of the CDC weekly updates, business is usual. Big scary numbers.
If you go to the CDC's National Center for Health Statistics site, there is a super stealth, no mainstream mention, very critical piece of info:
| For 6% of the deaths, COVID-19 was the only cause mentioned. [...] on average, there were 2.6 additional conditions or causes per death. |
Said another way, 94% of all U.S. COVID-19 deaths, were, in fact, deaths due to around 3 other causes and the Corona happened to be present as well. That means, as of 1:02PM today, 10,929 people have died of COVID-19 in the U.S.
Let that sink in.
