A couple weeks ago I was discussing current events with a long-time friend. At one point I began discussing certain behaviors I've seen on the "left" and he asked me "But who is the left? What do you mean?" What an excellent question. I began to think on it and realized that I needed to hone my understanding of what I meant when making such statements. And thus the following text was born. It took me roughly two weeks to do it, and it was very beneficial and educational for me. It's long though, so hold on tight if you've got the patience and curiosity to get through it.

I'd also love to hear your thoughts, if you disagree with something or feel that something is missing. And I'd love to hear your thoughts about the dangers you see on the right, whatever that means to you.

All are welcome to participate, as long as respect and civility remain constant in your words. Rudeness of any kind won't fly. And please be prepared to support your claims with evidence, or simply state that ...
