Does anybody know any other politician who is able to talk to a crowd of friendly protesters ;-) for almost 2 hours, with no paper before him and not even looking at the teleprompter, 99% of the time?
And who keeps it interesting and funny and energizing?
The president does exactly this, it is simply amazing. And really, with this event in MN, the guy running the teleprompter must have gotten into cold sweat, because Donald Trump simply didn't even glance at it sideways, beyond a few single lines.
But it's not just the president who was again extraordinary. His crowds are, too. They are not just enthusiastic about him. They do get each and every cue. The president doesn't even have to explain everything carefully. He just throws in a few marked words about some issue, and the crowd reacts instantaneously, knowing full well what Trump is talking about. They are well informed and smart people.
My impression from watching event after event is: ...
