Deceptive Headlines
Something Scott Adams has brought up is the fact that headlines often don't contain the story they advertised. He suggests reading the story, and then going back to the headline to see if it fits. I would think any publication that routinely provides misleading headlines isn't fit for consumption.
Here's one and I wasn't even looking;
"Proud Boys Kalamazoo march leads to violence, arrests"
Based on that headline, we assume the Proud Boys got violent and some were arrested. The photo even shows a white guy winding up to strike a black man with a stick. The actual caption is "A counter-protester puts a hand up to stop a fellow counter protester from going after Proud Boys members with a stick "
Reading the actual story we find it was antifa and counter-protesters that got violent and were arrested. The headline should have said "Antifa/counter-protesters bring violence to Proud Boys demonstration".
I'm not advocating for Proud Boys because I don't actually know much about them other than they are a multi-ethnic group of men.
