Random question, how do you define a living wage? I believe workers should receive a living wage, but what does that mean? In 2012 I managed to live in La Jolla on 25k per year. I had a roommate and did not own a car. I was budgeted to the penny. Please share your thoughts. Does living wage mean for a single person like I was? Does it mean for a family? Does it mean you can have a car? Or just that you can feed and shelter yourself? I feel like we need to define this in order to have an honest conversation about it.
