Happy Easter! Yesterday was beautiful here in South Dakota, and then today, we wake up to a snow storm of 5 - 8 inches!
But you know what? It's all going to melt away tomorrow.
We learn this kind of a lesson very viscerally here in SD. Life can sometimes dump an inordinate amount of "SNOW" on you, just when you thought things were starting to look really good. It's tempting to despair and run, and hide, and groan when this happens.
But what do you learn very quickly in South Dakota during these times? You get out your shovel, plow a path, and move forward. Life goes on. Spring IS here, and it all usually melts very fast on the next sunny day.
Truly, Happy Easter to all of you. Everything in Heaven and on the Earth of the Northern Hemisphere is testifying to you that the WINTER IS OVER, the LONG NIGHTS HAVE PASSED, and new LIFE is reborn. The snow will melt tomorrow.
He who has ears to hear, let him hear...
