Hey There Rubinites,
Hope you all are having a great week! Welcome to the eighth issue of The Rubin Recap! I’m excited to continue sharing facts, insights, and more while always hearing your thoughts on all things Rubin Report. Let’s get into it!
This Week on The Rubin Report:
This week was a bit different than our usual schedule as I was traveling to Los Angeles for a bunch of exciting events and interviews. Be sure to read the FULL newsletter to get ALL the details! Let’s start the week with something fun! In the comments put who you think Trump will pick for VP! I want to hear where your heads are at!
On Monday I didn’t have a direct message but still had a jammed packed schedule from early in the morning till late at night! I started the day off on the Dennis Prager radio show where we talked about why it is unlikely that Joe Biden will be the Democratic nominee, Prager’s past experience with Kamala Harris, the changing attitudes of my traditionally liberal Jewish family, and so much more. I moved on to sit down with my good friend Tom Bilyeu on Impact Theory. We had a great 2 + hour conversation regarding the potential of Florida seceding if Biden is elected in 2024, the damage of unchecked immigration, why the current situation at the border could be worse than perceived along with so many other things! Lastly, I was featured on California’s only statewide political show with The Issue Is: with Elex Michaelson where he asked me questions about President Biden's debate struggles, Vice President Harris' future, Fmr. Pres. Trump's upcoming RNC appearance, and Governor Newsom's new podcast. We also discussed how COVID shaped my worldview, being a father in a modern family, and going off the grid every August.
On Tuesday I started the day off with an absolute bang hopping back onto Piers Morgan Uncensored. I had a fiery debate with liberals Krystal Ball and TikTok influencer Harry Sisson to discuss the current state of President Joe Biden's mental health and his ability to continue serving as President, why Sisson continues to stand by Biden so ignorantly and blindly, why even progressives like Krystal Ball think it’s insane to not replace Biden, if Kamala Harris will replace Biden and so much more! The best part was getting to speak with Fox News’ Tyrus, who was also featured on the panel ( aka a fellow sane person in this crazy world)! Then I jumped on the Sage Steele Podcast to talk with her about life, kids, work and those freakishly cool socks I was able to pull off. Moving on I had a long discussion with Howie Mandell on his podcast Howie Mandell Does Stuff. While it hasn’t been released yet, it will be soon so be sure to always keep checking in for updates on what we will be discussing! Lastly, I went on The Adam Carolla show where we recapped a star-studded dinner we attended the night before, which included Adam splitting a potato with billionaire David Sacks. We also discussed Gavin Newsom’s ruining of California, Joe Biden’s obvious decline and the media’s tendency to lie about things Trump said, despite video evidence to the contrary. We ended with a great wrap-up on predictions for the 2024 election so make sure to watch all the way to the end!
On Wednesday I went over to the Habits and Hustle Podcast with Jennifer Cohen to dive into topics focused on lifestyle and wellness. Later on I appeared on Dr. Drew and we talked about how Biden and California are spiraling, the hypocrisy of the Democratic Party when it comes to policies, Kristi Noem’s downfall, and more. The day ended off with a great sit down with Bill Maher (more info later in the newsletter)!
On Thursday I hopped on over to The Chad Prather Show where we discussed so many burning issues. I also had a conversation with Sara Gonzales for her self titled podcast Sara Gonzales Unfiltered. We had a great talk about Democrat hypocrisy, why Joe Biden isn’t fit to be in the White House and more.
This Week’s Sit Down Interviews:
In my most recent Sit-Down I talked with my friend Robert Breedlove where we discussed his move to Florida/ the benefits of living in a red state post-pandemic, his career in finance, his focus on Bitcoin, and his belief in economic freedom, why Keynesian economics is a pseudoscience; what young people can learn from Austrian economics, the importance of individual incentives, the danger of government overreach, why the ideals of life, liberty, and property are essential for societal progress and much more!
And guess what that’s not all! I also sat down with Bill Maher to discuss a bunch of things. No spoilers yet but be sure to hop on this Monday where I will release an EXCLUSIVE CLIP to the locals community!

Dave’s Fave’s and Insights:
This week was an absolute blast being in California. On Monday Night (as I somewhat mentioned before), I had dinner with Dr. Drew, Adam Corolla, Sage Steele, Dennis Prager, David Sacks, and Michael Schirmer. It was insane to get this whole gang together and you all know how much I love a good meal!
On Wednesday after Bill Maher and I concluded our pre-recorded sitdown interview where we drank tequila! Afterwards he joined me on the basketball court to throw some hoops. That same day I also did a little shopping where I went to Bloomingdales and Nordstroms to buy some cool jackets.
To cap it all off I went to the famous restaurant Craig’s last night located in the heart of Hollywood. I had a fantastic bone and ribeye. As you all know I typically like to cook up my own steak as I am pretty picky, but what this place served was mind blowing!
