The Rubin Recap: The Week of the Debate
Issue 13: September, 13th 2024

Hey There Rubinites,

Hope you all are having a great week! Welcome to the thirteenth issue of The Rubin Recap! I’m excited to continue sharing facts, insights, and more while always hearing your thoughts on all things Rubin Report. Let’s get into it!

This Week on The Rubin Report:

As you all know this week was particularly busy! I made sure to discuss everything from that tentious debate to Taylor Swift’s endorsement of Kamala Harris. So without further ado it’s time to break it down.

On Monday I started the week off by talking about entrepreneur and Silicon Valley legend Naval Ravikant shocking Megyn Kelly with his surgical takedown of the dangerous lawfare that Democrats are using to try to take down the former President and Elton John’s unexpected answer to a reporter’s question about Donald Trump. I moved on to Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson getting massive applause after telling “Valuetainment’s” Patrick Bet-David his thoughts on the attempted assassination of Donald Trump as well as Scott Jennings getting Van Jones to laugh on air with his roasting of Democrats' sudden love for “war criminal” Dick Cheney. I made sure to discuss Elon Musk using Raphael Warnock’s appearance on “Meet the Press” with Kristen Welker to warn people about Kamala Harris’ comments in support of mandatory gun buybacks in addition to some talk on the black community of Chicago reaching its breaking point with the migrant crisis and turning on the Democratic Party. Lastly, I ended the day off including my thoughts on some crazy scenes from Springfield, Ohio, that have resulted from the mass importation of Haitian migrants and Megyn Kelly taking a victory lap for beating NBC News.

On Tuesday I began by discussing  Elon Musk telling “The All-In Podcast’s” Jason Calacanis the real danger of the current war on free speech at the All-In Summit 2024 as well as CNN’s Erin Burnett being shocked by the far-left policy opinions of Kamala Harris in 2019, including her support of taxpayer-funded gender surgeries for illegal migrants and the defunding of ICE. I moved on to Democrat John Fetterman giving a surprising answer to explain what he thinks matters most in the 2024 election and Kamala Harris stooping to a new low with her pandering to black voters. Then I made sure to take a look at Kamala Harris’ disastrous interview with Univision where she failed to explain why Latino voters should vote for her and CNN’s Dana Bash admitting how unprepared Kamala Harris was for her interview. Next, I shared my thoughts on Robert F. Kennedy Jr. telling “The Full Send Podcast’s” Bradley Martyn what Donald Trump told him about his failure to drain the swamp during his presidency. But the day wasn’t over! Then I had my live coverage of the second presidential debate for the 2024 election. I gave my honest reaction to all the best and worst moments of Donald Trump and Kamala Harris during that heated hour and a half.

On Wednesday I had to start the day off by giving my insight into the first debate between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris. We talked about so much including the outrage over the blatant examples of bias from moderators David Muir and Linsey Davis that mainstream media will ignore and reactions to the debate from Ben Shapiro and Robert F. Kennedy Jr.! Then we took a look at Russell Brand’s controversial appearance on “Real Time with Bill Maher,” where he roasted MSNBC’s John Heilemann for media bias and Megyn Kelly’s savage response to “childless cat lady” Taylor Swift for her Kamala Harris endorsement. I discussed “The View’s” Ana Navarro asking Nancy Pelosi the question she didn’t want to be asked about the Biden coup and Peter Thiel telling Joe Rogan what made him start thinking of Bill Gates as a sociopath. Lastly, I reacted to Elon Musk’s unexpected response to Taylor Swift calling herself a “childless cat lady.”

On Thursday, we had  a very special show. Co-host Megyn Kelly talked with me about the fallout from ABC News’ disastrous handling of the first presidential debate, where the moderators displayed extreme bias and absurd fact checking. I made sure to ask her about Linsey Davis completely botching asking Kamala Harris about her flip-flopping on issues like a fracking ban despite CNN's Dana Bash already missing the opportunity and how alternative media is beginning to beat mainstream media outlets like NBC News and CBS News in views on YouTube. We ended it all by explaining how young Swifties going through puberty are put in actual danger of getting unnecessary top surgery and gender-affirming care because of the ignorance of Taylor Swift.

Today, I did a LIVE Q & A! Use this link to watch!

Hey There Rubinites,

Welcome back to the 12th issue of The Rubin Recap!

I’m so excited to be back in the studio and reconnecting with you all! This past month away was a much-needed break from this crazy world we are living in, so I’m glad I got to step back and take a moment to recharge. As always I’m excited to continue sharing facts, insights, and more while hearing your thoughts on all things Rubin Report. So without further ado….Let’s get into it!

This Week on The Rubin Report:

This week after returning back from my time off the grid we had a whole lot to cover. From that disastrous first interview of Kamala Harris to Mark Zuckerberg’s admission about Facebook I made sure to keep you all up to date with craziest the stories of the past month!

As you all know I have been off-grid with no access to news, social media, or his phone since July 31. So, on Tuesday (my first official day back), we went live and our guest-host and my close freind Sage Steele told me everything I missed thus far in August. If you haven’t already, tune in to see my live reactions to finding out about Kamala Harris’ disastrous first interview as a presidential candidate with CNN’s Dana Bash, Harris picking Tim Walz to be her vice president, Walz’s stolen valor scandal, Nancy Pelosi finally admitting the truth about the coup against Joe Biden to the New Yorker’s David Remnick, Elon Musk’s abrupt ending of Twitter in Brazil, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. suspending his campaign with a surprise endorsement of Donald Trump and so much more! What do you think was the craziest thing that happened this past month? Comment down below.

AD_4nXcjru7vwAJgMc3nIBUIU8olzZ080m8vny-7pEdancvcXP7jY3cVMxqvj392b5StkrSqeL2xuy0rCAAPoJ_-hEXvSn2eVe8uMg3nJFMx9TO4YXBK5kLGnukBMaIL4FA_UqKbpheAcskzgO_8XJ17FVzxyNHz?key=nqtfTZctrJQ91uMNv_w4og

On Wednesday, I started off by talking about “Modern Wisdom’s” Chris Williamson being shocked by Eric Weinstein’s prediction about Donald Trump being prevented from becoming president again. We moved on to “Club Random’s” Bill Maher getting an unhinged lecture from Quentin Tarantino about questioning Kamala Harris’ tactics and Tucker Carlson being shocked by Robert F Kennedy Jr. revealing the behind-the-scenes stories of how the Biden administration forced censorship on all the major social media companies. I also included my thoughts on “Shark Tank’s” Kevin O’Leary explaining why so many businesses are leaving New York to Don Lemon and his CNN co-hosts and Fox News’ Peter Doocy asking Karine Jean-Pierre to explain Kamala Harris’ bizarre code switching and fake Southern accent. We ended the day off with Donald Trump explaining to Lex Fridman the real reason that he calls Kamala Harris a communist and why her price control proposal should scare every American.

On Thursday, I began by discussing Bret Weinstein shocking Joe Rogan with his dark prediction for the 2024 election and his telling “Valuetainment’s” Patrick Bet-David why the Democratic Party is now a major threat to democracy. Then I moved on to Donald Trump telling Shawn Ryan about his private talks with Elon Musk and what position he could hold in his Cabinet before taking a turn to CNN’s David Chalian showing host Kate Bolduan how current polling in important swing states is showing which groups of voters could tip the election in favor of Republicans. I had to mention MSNBC’s Morgan Radford not getting the answer she expected from a biracial voter whom she expected to be excited by Kamala Harris and Vivek Ramaswamy unloading on CNN’s Kate Bolduan for ignoring the flip-flopping of Kamala Harris. Lastly, I finished the episode off by taking a look at Joe Rogan and Bret Weinstein thinking that a recent New York Times headline could have been from the Babylon Bee.

Get ready because today, I’m doing a LIVE Q & A! Use this link to join now or watch later!

 This Week’s Sit Down Interviews:

In my most recent Sit Down interview I talked with Dennis Quaid about his political views, his support for Trump, and how it has impacted his career in Hollywood, how sharing political opinions has become risky, and led to attempts to cancel him, why he felt compelled to speak out in this election, the diminishing mystery around actors due to social media, his connection to Ronald Reagan, which inspired him to take on the role in the upcoming biopic “Reagan” and so much more.

Dave’s Fave’s and Insights:

Where to begin! This month was really a wonderful time to step back and appreciate the moment after months of utter chaos. I enjoyed the time off in Mexico, hanging out with my family, drinking cocktails, and of course hitting the beach!

I also thought I’d include some reflections from our amazing team! See below and comment what you did!

AD_4nXc2gr1Bqbu8t8YEbdZ9VlxVEF2oa7Hqj-YTfu9JcTFqp2HTWLs3n2pUB-YO5vsaLrnx1AMzBsNGrdIscPYilpmwvWxoQdbkB-zPxBu8pOgGIT02p9vN0DePaN7mLyv6h__f2naucbHsjwIESXb3wbiN7co?key=nqtfTZctrJQ91uMNv_w4og

Adi (Chief of Staff):

I traveled around Budapest, Vienna, and Prague with my mom and then Portugal and Greece with my new fiance!  Some of the most beautiful views and sunsets I’ve ever seen! My takeaway from Off the Grid August is that stepping away from the daily grind and disconnecting from the usual routine sparks creativity and allows space for reflection. It’s in these moments of pause and separation that the best ideas truly come to life.

Phoenix (Executive Producer):

I went to Phuket, Thailand and lived at Tiger Muay Thai Gym for 10 days! It was a great experience and rewind from a busy season.

Brock (Social Media Manager):

I went to Scotland on a golfing trip and got to play 7 courses all across the country including St. Andrew’s (the home of golf) and Trump Turnberry (lighthouse photo). It was one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been - and Isabel and I got to do a lot of cool stuff. Oh and we ate a ton of great food!

Christopher (Youtube Channel Management):

I visited Seattle and the Olympic Peninsula, home of Twin Peaks, Bigfoot and Twilight. I also discovered that that part of the Pacific Northwest is especially inhospitable to taking your child to fancy meals and any place serving fancy cocktails.

Connor (Director):

This August I visited family back home in Arizona and saw my nephews first little league baseball practice. Then spent a week in Boise visiting my best friend, his wife and 1 year old girl:) We floated down the Boise river, went pigeon shooting and biked the Green Belt. After Boise I spent a couple days in D.C. to check out the Nationals stadium and then Baltimore to watch an Orioles game at Camden Yards and visit the famous aquarium. I’ve now been to 15/30 MLB ballparks which is a bucket list goal of mine to visit them all. The last week I spent preparing for the new season of The Rubin Report! It was a restful and fun August!

Joey (Video Editor):

This summer I went to Greece and Italy with my girlfriend! My takeaway from this August is how important balance is in life. Working hard but also being able to enjoy life outside of work is something I struggled with but now feel like I am better at. Everyone should have a good work life balance in order to enjoy life to its fullest!

Joseph (Intern):

This summer, I had a great time working for the Rubin Report, seeing Dave & the team in their element, meeting the Locals team, and celebrating Joey's birthday. I've been hiking a lot in Griffith Park, went to the beach a few times, took my brother to a baseball tournament at the KC Royals’ Spring Training facility, and spent time with my dog!

Abbey (Intern):

This summer I had the opportunity to relax, spend time with family and friends, and hang out with my dog! It was really nice getting to step back from the chaos of everything going on in the world and just focus on the moment.

Hey There Rubinites,

Hope you all are having a great week! Welcome to the eleventh issue of The Rubin Recap! As I’ve mentioned on the show, every month in August I go off the grid to stay sane and spend time with family. That being said, this will be the LAST edition of the Rubin Report before I take a little hiatus. I’ll miss you all, but for now I’m excited to continue sharing facts, insights, and more while always hearing your thoughts on all things Rubin Report. Let’s get into it!

This Week on The Rubin Report:

Well, Kamala Harris is officially the presumptive nominee for the democrats and it just keeps getting crazier. Between the Olympics opening ceremony and Elon Musk showcasing Google’s election interference, the world has shown no signs of slowing down. So here it goes! Before I take a break it’s time for one more weekly rundown.

On Monday, I talked about the controversy over Joe Rogan’s latest interview with Jordan Peterson, in which Peterson stopped holding back about the real damage of gender-affirming care on minors and trans youth. I moved on to that insane anti-Christian Paris Olympics opening ceremony. I also made reference to Ben Carson surprising Tucker Carlson with his brutal assessment of Kamala Harris and a clip of “Real Time with Bill Maher” exposing how Kamala Harris is to the left of Bernie Sanders on the issue of equity vs. equality. I then discussed a damaging resurfaced clip of Kamala Harris telling Lester Holt that she supports abolishing private health insurance in favor of a Medicare-for-all plan and Elon Musk’s vicious comeback to Gavin Newsom for threatening him for posting an AI-generated Kamala Harris campaign ad. Lastly, we ended the day off with Bill Maher explaining in simple terms why Kamala can’t win.

AD_4nXfjOh_NwQkzEqH9BmpHhiBTO2t6TayLsDU6k1mOrqSMqMN187N78Z-z0ik0pyIhI8B1w6IaisnYqjT_PCUMb9UJgwZSAXAoeGcct1PDBtg3lQ7akoehMvzi96oHSKZ1Bn5jkEqAySaAs6ebNXJG5NPx23Va?key=Yios5vvs9e7oSPtwUIJw6Q

On Tuesday, I started the day off by talking about Elon Musk sharing a hilarious video proving how the mainstream media is simply a propaganda organization for the Democratic Party and NPCs with their latest talking points about JD Vance being “weird.” We moved on to “The View’s” Sunny Hostin and a parade of other TV personalities working overtime to make viewers forget about Kamala Harris’ past radical leftist policy proposals as they desperately lie to convince voters that she is a moderate and a centrist while Greg Gutfeld is exposing Kamala for hiring child actors for a photo op. I had to make mention of Harry Sisson embarrassing himself by returning to “Piers Morgan Uncensored” after deciding never to back down from supporting President Biden. The show ended with me discussing how Elon Musk is accusing Google of election interference and Nicolas Maduro beginning to lose control of Venezuela following the contested elections as the military begins to refuse his orders.

On Wednesday, I released my FINAL DM (for the time being) where I talked about why I go off the grid for the month of August despite the upcoming Democratic National Convention and the insanity of political news at this moment. I wanted to discuss the importance of his digital detoxes as well as roundup my favorite interviews and moments of the past year with Bill Maher, Elon Musk, Donald Trump, Jordan Peterson, Patrick Bet-David, Megyn Kelly, Ben Shapiro, Michael Knowles, Dr. Phil, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Dr. Drew, and Douglas Murray just to name a few. I also made sure to do a special “ask me anything” question-and-answer session on a wide-ranging host of topics, answering questions for all of you! I want to know what your favorite Rubin moments of the year were and what you hope to see when I get back. Comment down below!

This Week’s Sit Down Interviews:

In my most recent Sit-Down I talked with NYU professor Scott Galloway about his political stance as a "raging moderate," the challenges moderates face from both political extremes, the importance of government support in his success, why the current state of affirmative action is failing and how a shift toward income-based support rather than race-based could help reform it and why government involvement in helping underprivileged kids is necessary.
