Hey There Rubinites,
Hope you all are having a great week! Welcome to the sixteenth issue of The Rubin Recap! Iâm excited to continue sharing facts, insights, and more while always hearing your thoughts on all things Rubin Report. Letâs get into it!
This Week on The Rubin Report:Â
For those who are confused, the edition is coming out a bit earlier due to the holidays but donât worry I made sure to cover everything you need to know. So without further ado here it goes.Â
This week weâre taking it back to the weekend! On Sunday, I went backstage at Washington D.C.'s "Rescue the Republic Rallyâ with Russell Brand, Tulsi Gabbard, Zachary Levi, and Senator Ron Johnson to talk about the recent big-tent movement to bring together independent voters, Trump supporters, and disenfranchised Democrats. We released these clips on Monday and Tuesday during our DM segment so be sure to check them out!
On Monday and Tuesday we went to Austin for a very exciting keynote and to meet some amazing and interesting people for our upcoming projectsâŠStay tuned!
Wednesday I returned back for a regular dm where I began the day of by talking about the first vice presidential debate between JD Vance and Tim Walz, where Tim Walz looked like a deer in headlights when Vance laid out how Joe Biden and Kamala Harris created the inflation that has been crippling American families. To continue on the debate theme we also referenced moderator Margaret Brennan calling out Tim Walz for lying in his answer about his trips to China, how JD Vance had his mic muted when he fact-checked the moderators' fact-check about illegal immigration, and how even mainstream media like NewsNationâs Chris Cuomo and CNNâs Jake Tapper admitted that JD Vance easily beat Tim Walz. I made sure to cover Iranâs missile attack on Israel as well as Scott Jennings stunning his CNN panel by pointing out Kamala Harrisâ staged photo pretending to be sending federal help to the victims of Hurricane Helene. We also discussed Elon Musk working with Donald Trump to get Starlink units to areas without communication capabilities after being hit by Hurricane Helene and ILA president Harold Daggett sounding like a mob boss with his threats to shut down the entire economy with the first major port strike of longshoreman in over 50 years. Lastly, we ended the day off with Jordan Peterson and Russell Brandâs inspiring words from the Rescue the Republic Rally.
The Sit Down:
This week I released special sit down interviews with Charlie Kirk and Piers Morgan.
Charlie and I discussed Trump's improved position compared to previous elections, how Florida and Ohio are no longer battleground states, the impact of Kamala Harrisâ campaign strategies, how voter turnout will be critical for a Trump victory; concerns about potential election issues similar to 2020 and so much more!Â
I had a really good talk with Piers discussing the global dominance of American politics in media, his extensive experience in American television,; his time with Donald Trump on âThe Apprenticeâ and CNN, the change in CNNâs media bias in recent years, the growing dominance of digital media platforms like YouTube among younger audiences, how political discourse has devolved into hostility with both sides avoiding meaningful debate, concerns over the extreme Left adopting fascist-like tendencies John Legend rewriting âBaby, Itâs Cold Outsideâ while ignoring misogynistic lyrics in rap music and so much more!
