Hey There Rubinites,
Hope you all are having a great week! Welcome to the fourteenth issue of The Rubin Recap! I’m excited to continue sharing facts, insights, and more while always hearing your thoughts on all things Rubin Report. Let’s get into it!
This Week on The Rubin Report:
This week was nothing short of chaotic. As always I made sure to cover everything from the second assassination attempt on Trump to the backlash against debate moderators David Muir and Linsey Davis.
On Monday, I began the day off by talking about Donald Trump’s reaction to a second assassination attempt at the Trump International Golf Club West Palm Beach and what we’ve learned about suspected shooter Ryan Routh. We then dove into that leak from ABC News accusing the network of rigging the debate in favor of Kamala Harris and JD Vance’s awkward exchange with CNN’s Dana Bash after he called out her obvious bias live on the air. I moved on to my thoughts on Kamala Harris doing her first solo interview with Brian Taff, where she gave a stunning “word salad” answer to a simple question about what she plans to do about the rising cost of living as well as Ryan Girdusky shocking CNN’s Van Jones and the rest of the CNN panel with an epic takedown of Kamala Harris’ major policy flip-flops. Lastly I ended the day off by discussing the “Real Time with Bill Maher” crowd giving a loud roar for Palantir CEO Alex Karp’s brutal assessment of why California continues to fail and Mark Wahlberg doubling down on his plan to help create a film industry outside Las Vegas, Nevada, to rival Hollywood
On Tuesday, I was joined by our very special co-host Vivek Ramaswamy. Together we talked about the media’s disastrous coverage of the second assassination attempt against Donald Trump, NBC’s Lester Holt questioning Joe Biden about whether he regrets his own violent rhetoric, why Republicans are making a mistake to think they are running against Kamala Harris when they are actually running against the “Democratic machine”, Bret Weinstein’s message to Joe Rogan about Trump needing to win by a landslide to overcome the “cheat margin”; what’s really going on in Springfield, Ohio, and how a massive influx of Haitian immigrants under the Biden administration has affected the community.
On Wednesday, we started the day off by discussing Elon Musk’s vicious comeback to Gavin Newsom for making it illegal to post an AI-generated parody Kamala Harris campaign ad and the “The View’s” Sunny Hostin and Joy Behar blaming Donald Trump’s rhetoric for the second assassination attempt while being oblivious to their own. I moved on to White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre getting angry at Fox News’ Peter Doocy for pointing out the dangerous rhetoric that Joe Biden continues to use about Donald Trump despite a second attempt on his life and Byron Donalds calling out CNN’s Kate Bolduan for refusing to admit that Kamala Harris continued to push disproven hoaxes about Trump’s “bloodbath” and “very fine people” comments. I moved on to Benny Johnson trying to find out Kamala Harris supporters' favorite policies and Camille Paglia shocking Charlie Rose with her brutal takedown of multiculturalism. We ended the day off by Florida putting an 11-year-old boy through a perp walk for his threats to commit a mass shooting.
On Thursday, I started off by talking about Donald Trump’s surprise appearance on Fox News’ “Gutfeld!” where Trump told Greg Gutfeld his own blunt analysis of the moderator bias during his first debate with Kamala Harris on ABC News, and his response to how the media is reacting to the second assassination attempt against him. Then I moved on to Megyn Kelly's analysis of debate moderator David Muir’s sloppy attempt to clean up his reputation on “Live with Kelly and Mark.” We ended it off Scott Jennings forcing CNN’s Elie Mystal and Abby Phillip to admit the truth about how Trump’s “bloodbath” comments were completely distorted by Democrats and the media. Of course I also made sure to do a special “ask me anything” Q & A session on a wide-ranging host of topics, answering questions from all of you guys here on Locals.
Today, we had an amazing roundtable session featuring Dr. Drew Pinsky and Karol Markowicz about Barstool Sports’ Dave Portnoy finally announcing that he will be voting for Donald Trump after delivering a scathing attack on the Democratic Party for pretending to be the party that can save democracy as Democrat elites anoint Kamala Harris as the Democratic nominee while ignoring the will of Democrat voters. We also discussed how the entire field of journalism has proved Trump’s “fake news” label correct with the complete ignoring of the coup against Joe Biden and Pharrell Williams mocking self-righteous celebrities for their political endorsements in his interview with “The Hollywood Reporter.” We covered Gavin Newsom making it illegal to post AI-generated parodies like the AI-created Kamala Harris campaign ad shared by Elon Musk. Lastly, we referenced how current polling in important swing states is showing how easily voters could tip the election in favor of Republicans and predictions for who will win the 2024 election.
