I've been seeing a ton of crazy posts on social media (as I'm sure you all have, as well). I don't engage much on social media, because I'm not interested in getting into flame wars, but I also realized that simply criticizing people in my on mind wasn't helping anything, either. So, I reached out to this one guy who made a post that I strongly disagreed with, and we talked for over 2 hours last night. I had a lot of questions for him that he wasn't able to answer, and it made him realize how much he hadn't considered before. He also had some perspectives that I hadn't considered, as well.
I think this is what we need, folks. We need to start reaching out to the people we know (as long as those people are committed to the truth) and just start talking. Ask questions, have them ask you questions. Be like Jordan Peterson; assume they know something you don't.
