I would urge people to look up this ACTUAL Civil Rights Leader, Robert L. Woodson Sr. - whom many look to as the “godfather” of the neighborhood empowerment movement.
He founded the Woodson Center in 1981 to help residents of low-income neighborhoods address the problems of their communities and, does no believe in "systematic racism" as being the cause of the hardship in the African-American community.
He pins the blame squarely where it should be - Failing Leadership of those who have gotten their slice of the pie on the backs of those they profess to be "helping". Mainly (though not exclusively) Black Leadership of the Elected Local Black Politicians, the Congressional Black Caucus and, even the NAACP for failing to rise to the occasion when given the opportunity.
I saw him interviewed last evening (he is usually a low-key, stay out of the spotlight gentleman) on Tucker Carlson and, was so glad a man of his stature would call out those African-Americans who are doing more ...

Today is my 28th anniversary. my wife is an absolute saint. She stuck with me through sh#@. Addiction and all that comes with it. I believe God rewards a good heart. We have an absolutely incredible life....
