Good morning from New York, to this inspiring community. As you’re well aware, there’s a lot of hate happening, and has me going: “wtf do I do with this?!” It’s easy for me to head down the path of hopelessness. I care a lot about contributing, so I'm here to share something with y'all.
The name sounds corny, but hear me out - after years of study and searching, I have found these conflict management tools that go by “Non Violent Communication” taught by a New York based crew are the best tools to use when in the heat of real serious conflict with people I care about. It’s given me understanding and the ability to see the humanness in people I have major differences with, who are yelling and screaming in pain, and have helped me process my own pain as well as compassionately set boundaries.
