YoungRippa59 dropped some excellent perspective on the BLM movement from a Black Libertarian view. He starts talking more about the politics around 15 minutes, and gets a little heated around 25 minutes, but a couple key take aways:
- You don't get me as an ally just because you can point out problems...
- ...especially when the solutions you come up with are just replacing the police (the State) with another version, still restricting my freedoms and causing harm.
- the BLM movement is lead by two groups of people; self hating/guilty white people, and black people who want pity, acceptance, and help.
