I was talking today with a friend of mine who is currently developing a film project for a major Hollywood studio. I promised her I wouldn't repeat what she said to anyone, but none of you know her, and I believe you all need to know this:
An exec at this studio who knew her and her boyfriend is the primary producer for this project. Recently she and her boyfriend broke up, and since he was friendly with both of them, he was among the first to hear this news.

Ever since then, this exec has gotten extremely inappropriate in his conversations and correspondence with her, going so far as to graphically describe his you-know-what, and what he would like her to do to it, and what he would like to do to her with it. It's disgusting.

To her credit, she is saving the emails. However, she's also refusing to allow friends of hers within the company to go to HR, and she's certainly not going herself. She's worried, as most women in her position are, about what he might do in ...
