This is the first (and maybe only) podcast that I am insisting people I know listen to. It is that good.
I have only two points to add:
1: Jim Crow ended just as the assault on the middle class began; ergo, since that time it has become harder for anyone to rise into the middle class, regardless of race.
2: We need a study on multi-generational poverty that controls for race -- I propose using the poor whites of Appalachia as a comparison to other groups.
That aside, this is more than superb: I honestly think Sam Harris should get a Nobel Peace Prize for having the courage to post this (it would certainly bring dignity back to that award).
