I know this is the community that can help me crystallize a thought that popped into my head. One of the elements embedded in the narrative of systemic racism is about economic disparity. How do you square this with the push, from the same people, that our country should be open to mass immigration? How can one simultaneously claim that it is our duty to bring in immigrants (supposedly to give them a better life) while maintaining that systemic racism and economic disparities inhibit success in America?
