Hey y'all.
I think I found an interesting dimension of Brian(a)'s Life Matters that I wanted to get help in addressing.
I am disabled-from-birth so that is why I noticed it, because I have to deal with able-ists every day.
Anyways. Black-disabled are harassed by black-able for using white services that are open to everyone. ...I couldn't really access any services when I was younger because my family couldn't afford it. However, my white privilege chuckle means that I can use white services without having people shame me for doing so.
It'll benefit me, too, for the suggested fix that should work. But, well, I've already had to deal with the realization of the "disabled vs. able" paradigm so I guess I'm entitled to it for my perseverance.
I want to see the US Constitution get amended so as to list "disabled-from-birth" persons as Protected.
...
There are already many laws on the books for disabled people, and many more that should come.
The most important ...
Went to an illegal backyard dinner last night. Illegal fun (including tequila) was had by consenting adults. Please don’t report us.
No live show today as I wanted to give my guys a four day weekend with MLK Day on Monday.
Anyone got good weekend plans?
