Time for another round of "Aspiring Dictator".

Couple interesting (terrifying?) things came out of Governor Lujan-Grisham's press conference yesterday where she INCREASED restrictions due to rising positive cases. Restaurants are closed for inside dining again and breweries are no longer allowed to be open (curbside pickup only). Also, no word on school starting up again (I'm sure all the teachers love not knowing how to prepare), while youth soccer and football is canceled for the year.

A really curious thing: State parks are closed for camping (COVID especially lethal at night in the wilderness), but open for day use...to NM residents ONLY! (see the first slide) That's right, IDs will be checked upon park entry to verify residency. (in other news she still opposes IDs to prove citizenship when voting)

Another interesting thing: we are supposed to adopt a zero-tolerance attitude toward risky behavior. First thing on the list of risk? Leaving your house. Hmmm. (see slide 2)...

Yep. People need to stop giving power to others that they are not constitutionally supposed to have.
