So my question is, again, do you really believe the level of danger being claimed by our governments?

Just reading through the updated executive order from my Governor. She wanted to make sure we were aware that we will be involuntarily detained and quarantined if we don't self-quarantine when traveling in and out of the State. What is of particular note is the exemption for people who don't have to self-quarantine. Just the "essential businesses" alone (1 of 10 exempted categories) represents tens of thousands of residents coming into contact with 100s of thousands of other residents:

"...those performing public safety or public health functions, military personnel, federal employees, those employed by a federal agency or national defense contractor, emergency first responders, health care workers, those arriving in the State pursuant to a Court order, and persons who are employed or contracted by an 'essential business', as defined by the operative public health order ...

Can I just say, I am so so grateful to have found this community. I was losing my mind on Twitter. I've self-censored practically everything on Facebook. Who knows how long we can count on YouTube. I was getting a bit concerned for the future of the whole internet experiment, what with the big companies all but owning us.

I'm not a fringe person by any means and I'm usually the last to find out about the cool new place to be. I stay to myself and try to raise my family in peace. These days, the world is spinning out of control and it's so hard to find people to talk to because it seems like everyone's scared to say the "wrong" thing.

So I guess this is my "Hello!" to you all. I'm just happy to be here.
