So I checked out the app Talkspace for a therapist due to some stress I’m going through and being so isolated during Covid. They sent some matches for me. And even though I asked for no preference regarding gender they sent me an extremely interesting list of matches. All of them were women, all black and all state they focus on therapy for people of color. I’m scratching my head...... is my name black sounding? In my 39 years of life it never occurred to me! I didn’t submit any picture of myself so my name might be the only explanation why they sent me only black therapists my way. If that’s not the case, I’m confused why the selection available to me was not more diverse... Weird!

Edit: As an additional note, which goes without saying, I’m not a racist and have no issue hiring a qualified therapist regardless of race or any other defining factor, if they come across as a good match for me. 😉 I just thought this was very odd occurrence. At first I thought maybe they ...

Did anyone else watch Mandalorian last night? I haven’t been loving the series but last night went a long way in fixing so many of the broken parts of the Star Wars world.

Plus very cool to take Ahsoka from the animation world and make her a live action character...
