So I feel like a dumb dumb dummy. (btw brace yourself for the nerddom you are about to read.) I was listening to some classical music at work, rather than the usual politics and culture podcasts, when I came to the realization that the song Harold Hill has all the kids of River City “playing” to learn their instruments is Beethoven’s Minuet in G. I’ve been humming that song in my head for years! How did I not know where it came from? He even says it in the movie! I guess it’s like all the other classical masterpieces I only know from Looney Tunes.
Did anyone else watch Mandalorian last night? I haven’t been loving the series but last night went a long way in fixing so many of the broken parts of the Star Wars world.
Plus very cool to take Ahsoka from the animation world and make her a live action character...
Let me check – oh yes, November is almost through.
Well, I guess then this might very well be the last load of sunny autumn pictures this time around. Fresh from my afternoon walk. Which was almost a bit chilly, but obviously nice.
A message from Dave.
