Last week's podcast episode was about a young woman who suffered an horrific stroke at the age of 24 as a consequence of brain surgery. When she woke up she couldn't do anything: not even swallow or blink.
After fifteen years her rehabilitation has come a long way. She has gone back to her job as a occupational therapist and she's a speaker now. But can you imagine being robbed of the future you had envisaged in such a cruel way? No wonder she had to work through a lot of anger and resentment and grief.
