Jason Whitlock recently joined Clay Travis's *Outkick* sports commentary website/podcast team, which gives me something to look forward to come Football season.
Just yesterday, I also saw that there's a website specifically designed for employers to find people who aren't interested in all of this "woke" nonsense.
As Dave and Ben discussed in the recent interview, this is what happens in a free market where people get so sick of politics and various ideological agendas permeating everything they do- they find ways to do business, watch sports, and hire employees without it. This function of free market capitalism is something I typically find encouraging, though I do wonder what the trajectory, or logical conclusion of such things are.
Could Ben be right, that we are heading towards two rigidly-defined economies? Will our entertainment and social lives soon mirror the geographic changes already taking place? If so, where does that leave the Republic? Are we approaching the status of "irreconcilable differences" in our ability to function and co-exist as a unified society here in America?
What do you think? How optimistic are you about our future as a unified, functional society?
A big welcome to all the new folks who joined the community today! (And yes I’ll be signing those cards and mailing them out to you ASAP!)
While we do plenty of politics and culture around here it’s also a lot of pet and food pics. And since we have so many new members today it seems like a good time to start a pet pic thread. Here’s Clyde...now everyone introduce your furry friends!
