The Democratic Party of late has been overtaken by two forces: a dangerous ideology/theology, and servitude to a new constituency: extremely wealthy individuals and corporations (i.e., the 0.01%). Are these two linked? I strongly feel the possibility merits the most serious consideration. Keep in mind that the current DP, does not reflect all liberals -- far from it. The Cambridge-Berkeley crowd (as I call them) constitute a tiny percentage even of that segment of the population that considers itself liberal: it is vital we not lose sight of the fact that there are far more classical liberals, and people genuinely concerned for the well-being of the poorer/middle classes as a whole (regardless of race, gender identity, etc.). That the Democratic Party and the MSM have been co-opted by different interests entirely does not mean the original, true liberals no longer exist -- we must search them out, and nurture them wherever we find them.

Just sat down with Kim Klacik about her appearance on The View this morning which is tearing up the Internet right now...

View as I drove home from a neighboring town where my friend's home was saved twice- once last night when it came near her backyard and then again today when a hotspot by her house flared up. Grateful for firefighters and their work saving her home. Even during all this craziness there is much to be thankful for.
