Hey There Rubinites,
Hope you all are having a great week! Welcome to the fifteenth issue of The Rubin Recap! I’m excited to continue sharing facts, insights, and more while always hearing your thoughts on all things Rubin Report. Let’s get into it!
This Week on The Rubin Report:
This week was quite the whirlwind when it came to news. Don’t worry, as always I made sure to cover everything from Kamala’s first solo interview on MSNBC to Biden’s interview on the View.
On Monday, I started the day off by talking about Jordan Peterson shocking Piers Morgan by telling him whether he trusts Trump, what Elon Musk’s support of Trump really means, and why he would vote for Trump. We moved on to Whitley Yates telling MSNBC’s Jonathan Capehart and Meghan Hays why Oprah Winfrey’s interview with Kamala Harris seems to be backfiring with working-class voters and CNN’s failed attempt to shame a Trump supporter for owning a boat while being frustrated by inflation and the high cost of living. I made sure to cover Dana Bash admitting to Donny Deutsch that ABC News made a massive mistake by letting debate moderator David Muir do a one-sided fact-check during the presidential debate and ended off the direct message with my thoughts on Keir Starmer making Christopher Hitchens’ warning about Islamophobia come true.
On Tuesday, I invited special co-host Clay Travis to talk about Bill Maher explaining in simple terms why Kamala Harris can’t win to his audience and Ben Shapiro as well as “Real Time” guests Stephanie Ruhle and Bret Stephens sparring over Kamala Harris’ complete avoidance of interviews and being challenged on her flip-flopping policy decisions. We also discussed CNN’s Michael Eric Dyson using Nancy Mace’s mispronunciation of “Kamala” to attack her. Clay also covered what was said to CNN’s Brooke Baldwin that got him banned from CNN and how Common Core math really compares to the old math most of us learned in school. Lastly, we had to finish the day off with TMZ’s exclusive footage of Sean “Diddy” Combs being arrested and Usher deleting all his Tweets that could be used as evidence against Combs.
Wednesday was a busy day! We began by talking about Justin Trudeau’s appearance on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert,” where he raved about how amazing universal health care in Canada is while leaving out any details about the various shortages of health essentials like MRI machines as well as “Shark Tank’s” Kevin O'Leary telling the Nelk Boys at the “Full Send Podcast” how Justin Trudeau is driving Canada into the ground. I moved on to the “All-In Podcast’s” Jason Calacanis being publicly humiliated by Megyn Kelly’s legal knowledge of the inner workings of the various Trump trials and JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon telling CNBC’s "Squawk Box" hosts how the border crisis has woken up his liberal NY friends about the dangers of illegal immigration. I made sure to reference “Shark Tank’s” Kevin O'Leary telling Fox News’ Sandra Smith why Kamala Harris’ economic plan appears to be meaningless smoke and mirrors. Lastly, we completed our DM with my thoughts on Bill Maher not knowing what to think of Bjørn Lomborg’s data-backed correction of the media’s narrative about the death of the Great Barrier Reef. But that’s not all! I also had a special interview with the one and only Charlie Kirk set to be released soon! Keep an eye out in your mailboxes for those special clips coming soon!
On Thursday, I talked about Joe Biden’s appearance on “The View,” where Whoopi Goldberg went off script about her anger related to the “Biden coup” and Alyssa Farah Griffin asking Biden the one question he didn’t want to answer. I then discussed MSNBC’s Stephanie Ruhle asking Kamala Harris about her insane plan for price controls to address price-gouging and high grocery prices, as well her plan to “holistically” create more affordable housing to fight the housing affordability crisis. I moved on to New York City Mayor Eric Adams’ first public statement after being indicted by federal authorities and my thoughts on whether Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez had any advance warning of the indictment. I also made sure to check out a shocking clip on Charlie Kirk’s message for gay conservatives. I ended the day off by completing a special “ask me anything” question-and-answer session on a wide-ranging host of topics, answering questions from so many of you here on Locals!
Today, we have a very special LIVE roundtable featuring our guest panel Tom Bileyu and Mike Baker. Be sure to log on and check that out now!
